From time immemorial man has talked of God. Most of the humans have believed that God created the universe and sustains it. A minuscule percentage of humans have argued that man created or invented God and their psychological and social needs sustain Him. In sciences too, there has always been huge controversy on the role of God in the creation and sustenance of the universe.

Thus, the rise and growth of economic fundamentalism has been, from historical standards, rather rapid taking hardly a few centuries. The think-tank of the world of economic fundamentalism has taken innumerable steps to strengthen their hold; they have paralysed the law, manoeuvred politics and administration, mar­ginalised religion, captured the media, remodelled social values, commercialised sex, hijacked educational set-up, restructured the foundations of economics, misappropriated science and technology, masterminded popular movements, dehumanised the civilisation and colonised the globe. In the coming pages, each of these steps will be briefly ana­lysed.

The Universal Theory of Relativity presented in this book will be a reminder to the world that there is still a vast scope for novel philosophical ideas in the field of the knowledge of the Universe: Ideas that can remarkably transform our view of the Universe. I do not claim the theory itself is the Final Revolution, but I am supremely confident this will herald what, I hope, will be the final phase of the understanding of the universe. This will ultimately lead to a genuinely decent understanding of the universe–the way it came into existence; the way it functions; and the way it would continue its future journey to its ultimate destination. I do hope the book proves not to be a shot in the dark but a shot in the arm for the development of our knowledge of the world we live in.

The Title of the Book, “Islam means Peace” is a give-away. I thought it very pertinent at a time when Muslims the World over feel persecuted and under siege from all quarters. The title from the outset is apt and is an invitation to both the skeptics and believers to enhance and reaffirm their pre-conceived notions about Islam. For a skeptic a great opportunity to find fault and shred to smithereens the Author’s attempt to convey Islam as an instrument of World Peace and for a believer to feel reassured about Islam being all that he thought it was and perhaps even more. How far the Author has succeeded in winning the skeptic over even while retaining the believer has to be seen.
